Have Fun! Decorate your Dance Room
Upload fun photos and videos to the Facebook Group
Video record one special Dance with Dad and upload to Facebook. Choose a fast song, or a slow song, whatever you wish!
Stay tuned for the Raffle! We have lots of prizes to give away!

A note for Dads...

This is a family event, so everyone is invited to participate this year.

The Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast encourages you to “dine out” on Dance Night. Help to support your local food service industry.

*CoastalTakeout.ca provides listings for any takeout service you wish to use along the Sunshine Coast.

**You may support the Sunshine Coast Community Food Bank and local restaurants by purchasing prepared meals through the Sunshine Coast Food Service Response initiative at participating grocery stores. They are IGA Gibsons and Claytons in Sechelt. They are offering a 10% discount for meals on June 6 for people attending the Dance. Some proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank.

We will be holding a Raffle throughout the evening. Winners will be announced on our Dad and Me Dance Facebook Group.

*Prizes must be claimed within 7-days of the event (June 13, 2020)

Club of the Sunshine Coast

While the Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast celebrates its 20th Anniversary, it also proudly celebrates 20 years of bringing Dads and Daughters together for a magical evening of music, fun, food, dancing and raffle prizes. All proceeds from events like this go towards funding local and international initiatives. In addition, thanks to other community resources, some proceeds from dinner purchases will be donated to the Sunshine Coast Community Services Food Bank. Thank you for celebrating with us this year.

PLEASE NOTE! You will need the following to be able to view/hear/participate in this Zoom powered virtual dance party:

A computer/laptop/tablet/iPad with video-capable camera
Audio speakers of the device you are using to access need to be turned on and the volume at a level you are comfortable with (you may want to consider patching through your audio from the device being used into a stereo or entertainment system to enhance the sound volume/quality).
Zoom Chat will be available throughout the dance to request songs. Zoom will be broadcasting the music and videos.
Join the Dad and Me Dance private Facebook group for interacting with friends and uploading your photos and videos.

The Dad and Me Dance 2020 is being held in the magical virtual world of VideoMax Dance, brought to you by the Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast.

After you buy your ticket you will be directed to the registration form. When you register you will be asked for your name, your email address and for the first names of your daughter(s). This is for the purpose of entitling every Dad and Daughter to have access to the VideoMax Dance party and to be eligible for the Raffle that will be going on throughout the evening in the private Facebook group. There are many prizes for Dads and Daughters, and even a few for Moms. The grand prize is a Weber Travel BBQ.

Click on the ‘Purchase Ticket’ button to pay for your ticket and fill out the form for the Dad and Me Dance 2020. Then join us on our Dad and Me Dance Facebook group. Your privacy is protected, the Facebook page is private and we are dedicated to ensure that you have a fun time.
